PROGRAM OVERVIEW

AP (Advanced Placement) is an entry level exam which tests an applicants’ proficiency in specific subjects for undergrad level. High score in AP exam can help in tuition fee waiver, additional course credit offered by some universities and preference during your college application.

AP ELIGIBILITY

There is no maximum age limit to give AP exams, however, an applicant should be less than 21 years of age at the time of giving exam. There are no restrictions in the number of attempts to give AP. It is conducted once a year- in the month of May.

AP SCORE

AP have 5 points scale- where 1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest. There are combined scores from multiple choice section and free response section.

AP SYLLABUS

AP exams are offered across 38 subjects. The duration of the exam ranges from 90 minutes to 180 minutes. AP exam is divided into two parts. The first part consists of multiple-choice questions where the correct answer would be graded and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer. The second part is of free response questions where the applicant will write their own answers.
